It is even more manoeuvrable than the RDIS 300 thanks to light weight of this frame. From the baseline the manoeuvrability combines with the open 16/19 string pattern for easy access to spin. Both topspin and slice can be generated with little effort. Players who like to take a good cut at the ball and hit with heavy topspin will find a willing partner in the RDiS 500. At net the racquet feels crisp yet comfortable. Even volleys hit slightly outside the sweet spot come off the string bed with good depth and the racquet remains surprisingly stable. On the serve this racquet offers excellent access to pace. The standard length frame makes it easy to whip the racquet through the contact zone when looking for added spin.
